Yunusemre Nickel Mine Site

As a part of ’s continuing investment in nickel projects within Turkey; exploration and resource estimation programs have been underway since 2004 in two separate sectors, namely: Yunusemre and Mihalıççık, within the boundaries of Eskişehir Province. Yunusemre mine site was established and ore production was commenced in 2009, from an open pit.

Yunusemre mine site is located 20 km north of the highway, connecting Ankara (120 km) to Eskişehir (100 km). It is about 6 km away from Yunusemre Town where the nearest state railway passes through.  Mihalıççık Sector is located 30 km north of Yunusemre mine site, and about 5-6 km from Mihalıççık Town.

There are 5 operational and 11 exploration licenses within Yunusemre mine site.

There are a total of 11 personnel being employed as technical and administrative staff.
