Our facility in Gördes, Manisa, stands as a pioneering specialized operation aimed at developing nickel-cobalt resources in Turkey. With cutting-edge technology and process management, it ranks among the top 10 facilities globally in its field. The facility is comprised of four main sections: "Nickel Open-Pit Mining," "Limestone Quarry," "High-Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) Plant," and "Auxiliary Facilities."

Under the entrepreneurial spirit and industrial identity of Zorlu Holding, the completed production facility in Gördes boasts a capacity of 10,000 tons of nickel metal, with plans for a second-phase investment to reach a production capacity of 20,000 tons.

Commencing trial production in the last quarter of 2014, our company, with proven reserves of 300,000 tons (nickel metal content), transitioned to commercial production in 2015, marking its inaugural export. Ongoing technological advancements and increased efficiency will extend the operational life of the facility, ensuring it operates at higher capacities in the future.

Expanding its efforts from mining to minerals, our company, through advanced material technologies, enhances the value of its products, transforming nickel mining in Turkey into an innovative and high-value-added business sector.

In addition to the nickel-cobalt investment projects in Gördes, Eskişehir, and Uşak, our company conducts exploration activities in various regions. As we complete the initial phase of the investment in Gördes and enter the operational period, we continue reserve development and ore production efforts in Eskişehir, as well as geological studies in Uşak.

While continuing our R&D studies in the field of scandium and rare earth elements, we also evaluate various earth elements, especially iron, in the licensed areas we own.
